Aches & Pains Index

Chance of Precipitation:  includes not only rain but any form of water that reaches the ground. It is considered a factor in aches & pains because rainy weather accompanies changes in barometric pressure and humidity. For those who are sensitive to hot weather, rain can cool the atmosphere and may bring some relief.

Change in Temperature: Rapidly rising or falling temperatures are a hallmark of big weather changes, indicating underlying shifts in barometric pressure

Change in Humidity:  An increase in absolute humidity (the amount of water vapor per unit of air), especially in the summer, is commonly associated with an increased potential for aches and pains.

for the lowlands I am bound - where my pale bride will be found

Gourds - Lowlands Lyrics: I saddled me a wounded priest
Rode him wet through this August heat
I took me a German bride
all empty and bloody inside

in the dark I heard a thief
he stole my money and my grief
in the morning I wanted to die
the doctor cut me the lawyer lied

stop yer waiting and just go
don't be saying what you don't know
for the lowlands I am bound
where my pale bride will be found
