Who's Attacking Me Now?: Anderson Cooper -- Anger and outrage are appropriate in cable news -- so you know who's in trouble. Cooper said people were surprise at any real emotion being expressed that isn't 'phony outrage' as on Cable News: I think Cooper's attacking me with that, though I can't tell, because he isn't waving and shouting.

but first: Here's what John Friedman said about me when he was trying to slam Yahoo News. 'Yahoo has about as much chance of winning a Pulitzer as the Colbert Report.' /laughs/ Here's one: John Friedman has about as much chance of winning a Peabody as I do. ..Oh, wait, I already won one. No, two. Where will I keep them? I know: how 'bout with my Emmys? ../makes Emmys kiss before putting away/picks up Peabodies/ I make them fight, to see who loves me more.
yep yep badass. and aw making the emmys kiss. I love it IloveitIloveit IloveitIloveit IloveitIloveit

then the bit for Anderson Cooper - how he could have fired back at Howard Kurtz who questioned his emotional coverage of Hurrican Katrina: "Listen here, Kurtz. While I was knee-deep in death gumbo...you sat in your $$ ergnmc chair with your media critique tweezers, picking the nits off the rest of us, nits we got in the filthy hellscape we used to call the Big Easy. Where were you, Howie, when I was in the sh*t?"
You know- something like that. Use it, don't use it, it's yours.
