What is the first recorded instance of someone complaining about "kids these days"? I assume it's a sentiment that stretches back well before recorded history.

'Young people are in a condition like permanent intoxication, because youth is sweet and they are growing.' - Aristotle. Though I'm not sure it exactly qualifies as a complaint.
