comes to the end of its second blockbuster season with an explosive season finale set to air Monday, Sept. 4, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).
The highly charged episode will be preceded by an all-day marathon of THE CLOSER’s 12 previous second-season episodes.

In THE CLOSER’s season finale, entitled “Overkill,” Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (Sedgwick) must work with her FBI agent boyfriend Fritz Howard (John Tenney – You Can Count on Me, Get Real) on a case involving a the attempted assassination of a federally protected witness. he was in You can count on me? with Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo and Matthew Broderick -? was he the town police officer?
