anyway there is a new network called my network tv and instead of doing normal shows they are trying a new type of format all they're stuff is adaptations of successful telenovas outside of the usa---then bringing them here
I'd like to find info slash cmmts about the originals (even better - comparing originals and adaptations) esp FH wh seems appropr set in the US
...13 weeks then they are gone forever----gaspp(because im in love with fashion house) no dvds? fashion house is best damn thing i have ever seen its like melrose place meets speed and acid---- the speed and type of in your face slap fest is what i have been missing for years its the type of show you didnt know you had to watch-- thrill a minute pure fun high octane over the top awesome soooo watch it then tell me what you think you can get in its only been on for one week and a day now and one ep was just a recap plus you get a recap of whole week every saturday night so check it out desire isnt so great but FASHION HOUSE IS TOTALLY HOT

Has anyone checked out the new soap telenovels on the new network mynetwork? While I have only watched two episodes, I have been enjoying Fashion House - very much a guilty pleasure! ...Soap Chat - http://www.soapchat.net
while the premise of the shows are unoriginal, they are only 13weeks. This means that they can do different things with the characters...no long term stories mean soapy stories with conclusions - with this in mind, that may make the shows more orginal.......which is exciting
I'm with AaronA. The originality comes from the fact that the soap will end. None of this someone gets killed 3+ times over 10 yrs, but somehow isn't dead each time. I mean how many times can we get hooked on that?

Starring Bo Derek, Morgan Fairchild and a whole slew of really pretty people, Fashion House is set in the Los Angeles (yay!) fashion industry. The opening sequence was so brilliant. They have the best, most outrageous lines! I was almost gasping when the sequence ended, alternating between shock and laughter. Bo Derek looks amazing. While she is no Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, she is hiss-worthy as the head of the fictional House of Gianni. Bo's character has a hot son, a worthy adversary in Morgan Fairchild, and did I mention how amazing she looks? Because she does
.This show got some press because two of its characters (clothing designers, natch) are of the lucky few gay characters on primetime television shows. And I believe the show's writer is gay and a pretty popular blogger, too. huh. So there's a lot of catty dialogue between models, designers, Bo & Morgan, and tons of handsome eye candy. Normally I watch telenovelas with the sound turned off and my stereo turned up. But I won't be doing that here, because the dialogue is just too delicious.
