yay small town Alaska but the anne heche char has annoying common-cliche qualities. I like the girl fr gilmore girls (she was scheming agst paris & rory at chilton)who just appeared. curly red hair. cute as a sweet small town char (much better th a prep school mean girl).

laurel's tv picks: Men in Trees (ABC, 8pm) Hour-long dramedy. It seems to be a show that would fit in the same category as Everwood, Gilmore Girls, and Ed, if that makes sense.

today Laurel's picks:I've heard from a number of people who really liked the series premiere of Men in Trees (ABC, 7pm); I hope y’all had a chance to check it out. Anne Heche is likeable in this show that everyone keeps comparing to Northern Exposure ‘cuz she’s a New Yorker who ends up in a small Alaskan town.
