Secret Obsessions - TWoP Forums:

I am kind of surprised at the number of flashbacks they use. I mean, they have flashbacks of stuff that just transpired 15 minutes earlier. (And I thought Days of Our Lives overused flashbacks!)
I kind of like how constantly repetitive it is, via the flashbacks and the expositional dialogue - "I was locked with Andrea in the kitchen" got said and said and said. It's like one of those memory-game songs where you list all the previous parts and then add one new part. like, I'm going on a picnic, and then you list the foods you'll be taking, one for each letter of the alphabet. a group sings it and each person takes a turn and has to remember all the previous additions and then add their oen.
so you sing all the previous parts including that just-added new part, and add a more new part. The new bit -what was just added, what just happened- becomes part of the inherited back-story basically instantly.

-i'm assuming it's a time-saving measure, and a way to quickly bring new viewers up to speed. I'd rather that and the writers continue the plot than drawing things out way too much
oh yeah it's a pleasure that things are hardly drawn out if at all -?- just keeps happening. it's all big scenes. drama drama drama.

I watched last night for the first time, and aside from the annoying use of flashbacks (15 minutes ago? try 5), it was trashy fun.

Every time I see Lexie or Nikki I look around for Tyra. thas funny. Lexie's not a model though so -?
Lexie is the assistant who int me as looking -does she?- like TiffanyAmberThiessen (slash Michelle Belegrin as Andrea on Desire, slash a little bit Ginnifer Goodwin - what is it? round maybe heart-shaped face?) without being dark-haired..
she's played by Erika Schaeffer, no other credits on imdb and little in way of online pics.

Bill C- the only people on the show thus far who aren't or haven't been jerks at some point: Michelle, Nikki, Michael, Michelle's lawyer, the Ambiguously Gay Duo, and now Rodney (the black guy in Lance's office). And only Rodney hasn't been screwed over by a jerk yet.
I'm with SpicyWildflower on this...it's so obvious that at least for a little while Nikki's going to think that Michael's got a thing for Michelle. huh? must be a scene I did not see - At the very least, maybe we'll get lucky and Michael will bean Luke with a lens case for putting him in this predicament once it's all sorted out.
