Studio 60 -
wow that was good. saw most of the last half. matthew perry and bradley whitford are great.
imdb- Becky-61: Matthew Perry was right to wait for the perfect project to come along. From the looks of it, Studio 60 will let him do what he has seldom been afforded the opportunity to do, and that is subtle comedy with an edge. hear hear.

the dialogue is too fast and smart to keep up with. (wh is fine, it's impressive.) too good for tv? so that I'm thinking: I'll watch this on dvd. even BostonLegal is not like this.. ? .. to be taken seriously. (guess I take Alan Shore seriously but the rest is outrageous in a way that makes it light.) this ~ raises the bar ~ 'ruins' the viewer for anyth else.
-at end said if you missed any of this episode, nbc.com has 2 min sth. 2 min? if you missed 'any'?
-re-air at all? ah on Bravo = 44 at 10pm on Wed and on Sunday, that's cool.
-can watch pilot again this Wed after watching premiere of Kidnapped.
Kidnapped and Heroes next Monday I want to see premiere, but don't want to follow all this tv...
and this Th watch Grey's for the buzz of the premiere... and watch Shark bcs 'James Woods is a star", so I read. I saw him not long ago on tv with dolly parton in Straight Talk, that may be only time.
-speaking of wh, the boss guy Jack on Studio 60 looked like him to me - do Stephen Weber and James Woods look alike? Woods b 1947 so 14 yrs older than Weber b 1961. maybe it's less about resemblance and more about James Woods in mind fr reading that he is a star, and Weber looks familiar - bcs in Nightmares & Dreamscapes maybe - was he with Kim Delaney in "You know they have a hell of a band?" y I think so.
yep: Hell of a Band - Review: Break out your air guitars, tune-in, turn-on, and drop-out for this rock-n-roll episode of Nightmares & Dreamscapes. This one is based on one my favorite Stephen King short stories, You Know They Got a Hell of a Band. And it stars one of my favorite actors on TV, Steven Weber. Can't go wrong, right? Wrong!

"Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (2006)imdb:
-I am excited to see Matthew Perry in a role that has some gravitas and wounded humanity. Steven Weber is managing his arsehole role really well too. And once again Brad Whitford knocks it out of the park with his subtlety and grace.

Judd Hirsch: " - Pilot (2006) TV Episode .... Wes Mendell" -fr taxi - so he was only in this one episode, not a regular.
