Wild Things (1998):
A Well-Fitting Puzzle - Why i really liked it is because all of the twists in the plots actually come together. At the end of the film, integrated with the end credits, are previously unseen events that kept the full tale slightly hidden from the viewer. ok that's what I just saw. last 5 minutes. By inserting them at the end, the full story was told without inhibiting the ride. If you missed the hints and clues along the way, u can see what you failed to figure out. Certainly this is not a tale that fails to stretch credibility, but its is a film for amusement. But unlike so many, the mystery is solvable and does not rely on contrivances created at the end to make you feel stupid. If you miss them you are not stupid, but if foresee any of the conclusion, and the can be foreseen, hats off to you. -Author:dirtbrown

tvguide (pop-up on listings page): Twists lurk in just about every corner of this enjoyably trashy 1998 potboiler. Sam Lombardo (Matt Dillon), the social climbing guidance counselor at a tony South Florida high school, has his life torn apart, it appears, when a pouty rich student named Kelly (Denise Richards) and a pouty poor one named Suzie (Neve Cambell) accuse him of rape. Sam is no no rapist, and his lawyer (Bill Murray) easily breaks Suzie on the stand. Too easily, thinks one of the cops (Kevin Bacon), working on the case, and the game is afoot. -Theresa Russell very nicely written. I like the pouty rich and pouty poor. and the syntax here is very good, excellently concise.

so read that and turned it on for last 5 min, confusing bcs saw someone die then in next scene he's a live and neve's hair is different - flashbacks? as above, yes: scenes fr earlier that are seen now to show what the plotting... sounds like Twists indeed, fr ths rvw I'd think that Suzie is in kahoots with Sam, making came forward as 2nd witness so as to be broken on stand and lessen other girl's case? and Kevin Bacon suspects...
and I might guess that Neve's char is in fact out for herself and no one else. but I wld not have guessed what ruinedendings.com says: that KevinB was in on it with Sam...
so what's the whole deal? KevinB and Sam conspiring, + Neve + DeniseRichards - and the dark curlyhaired girl is the innocent observer who figures it out... shows agn tomorrow at 9 or so, watch if up?
