Nip/Tuck on TV Squad :Man, nothing is off limits with this show. It just keeps getting more and more bizarre. I mean it. Just when you thought Nip/Tuck had really addressed everything, it smacks you upside the face again. that's about the latest episode. looking back, indeed, you'd think they'd hit the top repeatedly. eg-

Escobar Gallardo (Robert LaSardo) - A ruthless, violent, and somewhat Scarface-esque drug lord from South America who the doctors become entangled with during season one. Has a thing for 1980s music and ultimately blackmailed Sean and Christian into giving him a new face so he could leave the drug business behind and start again. Instead, Sean and Christian gave him the face of another wanted criminal (!) and he was arrested at the airport while attempting to flee the country. He he also appeared in season 4 as a hallucination of Sean's (that's who that was) , encouraging him to repeat his sexual exploits with a young babysitter. Apparently has taken on the symbolic role of Sean's inner voice for aggressive behavior.

and so, Kimber's been a regular in the series throughout.
Kimber Henry (Kelly Carlson) Christian's on-again off-again, girlfriend whom he met in the pilot episode.Former model, pornographic actress, drug addict, and pornography producer, she is extremely self-conscious about her looks and has severe low self-esteem problems, partially brought about due to Christian's general apathy towards Kimber's feelings, which was expressed most notably in season one, when he attempted to "trade" Kimber to a rival plastic surgeon who was in love with her in exchange for the rival's new sports car. I think I watched a few min of that, year or more ago, did not know anyth abt the show and was not int. -also saw Kimber on 'tv talk' (tvguide channel), intrvwd tgther w ~Jms Denton~the plumber on DespHs. -and saw the actor wh plays Matt on tv talk along w the Amer Idol girl who then became a regular. ah her name is Kimberly Caldwell. (w rosanna tavarez) I think I noted this below. guess it is remarkable to me that the 2 times I've happened upon tv talk both involved a nip tuck actor.
TV Squad-Nip/Tuck: Dawn Budge: Kimber has become a completely new character just about every season and Carlson deserves a pat on the back for this transformation.

Joely Richardson imdb- - boards: she looks a little like... -Anne Heche, she's like Anne Heche's twin --Thats very true, i knew there was someone else who looked like her. your right, wow. -looks like...-Uma Thurman, Judy Greer, Anne Heche and Cameron Diaz. whew. and in one photo I see resembles Kirsten Dunst yes she does. makes her int, all this various resemblanciveness. I was impressed watching the season 2 episodes I rented, esp in epis where she is shown in alternate life as partner and wife of Christian, snorting cocaine, smoking, participating in hired sex w Kimber... she did cold beautiful well, and in current episodes she'd seemed so soft and not that striking-looking - I guess it's much about clothes and hairstyle, she has a soft unassuming quiet hairstyle now doesn't she?

and Rhona Mitra is in Season 3 (az rvw of seson 3 dvd):
-Christian's relationship with Kimber (Kelly Carlson) takes a serious turn, even when they are joined by a kinky cop (Rhona Mitra) assigned to the Carver cases.

Amazon.com: Nip/Tuck - The Complete Second Season: Christian's outward demeanor is all ego but inside he's just a scared little boy in search of love. He has morals although they stay well hidden and are rarely used. Okay, maybe they just aren't there but he's really handsome, very easy on the eyes and fun to watch, even if it's just as a warning of the type of guy to stay clear of. Sean seems to struggle with everything, thinks too deeply and is as much of an egotist as his partner but with a little more heart.
-
If you only watch one, watch this season. [It's] captivating, intelligent, and edgy. But you really should watch them all.

Amazon.com: Nip/Tuck - The Complete First Season: The one thing that struck me the most about these shows is the amount of genuine heart that stands at the center of each episode. There is a large amount of provocative, politically incorrect but unassailable truth here.
