oh this House is good. just saw the first few minutes and last ten.

John Larroquette is dad who awakes from coma and then wants to die, why?
and House helps him. they are in a hotel room.

dad doesn't know what words to relay to his son, he asks House what words he would want to hear from his father. House says, it won't help you. -Try me. -I'd want him to tell me, "You were right. You did the right thing." and dad says, you're right that doesn't help me. and House smiles.
but later when kid says my dad must have told you to tell me something? House says, he said to tell you, "You were right. You did the right thing." -about what? what does that mean? -how do I know, he's your dad.

and Wilson goes and hits on a woman, memorably I guess - she says she lives with her husband and kids in wherever, he says Do you swing?, she says no, he says if you change your mind I'm in - hey House, what room is it? -right room whateve number. then he goes over to the man he spoke to (who is standing by what a vending machine? are they in vegas?) who is lean and scruffy haired and holding a cane but is not House, slips him some money, and I guess takes the cane because then I see him handing it to House outside the hotel room, saying: your alibi. House says, I figured.
this friendship, these two actors, this seems like to make the show compelling.

I always did like that actor robertseanleonard, thought he was beautiful in deadpoetssociety telling the shy boy ethan hawke that his deskset -same present from parents as given him already- wants to fly.

I look forward to the House recap to tell me the story of this episode..
