-"Like when I taped my hands to look like Conor's because I was trying to process and you went all psycho. I mean, what kind of parenting was that?" One of the most hilarious lines this season! And, IIRC, we all said that same exact thing here at the time about Julia and Sean's reactions to Annie trying to deal with Conor's electrodactyly.
yeah that was one of the first episodes I saw and I thought it was awful that they yelled at her. she seemed obviously not to be making fun. rather, trying to understand. so - awful. I did not hear that line in this episode, am glad it was there.
-FutureConor, played by Stark Sands was perfect. He epitomized the best of Sean and Julia, especially the best of Sean.
-It was very magnanimous of Sean to tell Marlo that he hoped he'd still be part of Conor's life.
I think this will turn out to be a dream - like Julia's alternate reality one in season two. I guess I'd like that, but seems unlikely that next episode wld contextualize this one.. don't nip/tuck episodes usually sort of stand alone? in which case, there was nothing to establish or even suggest that it was a dream but nothing to rule it out either. wh is fine.
-Overall I liked that they mostly played things for laughs, which I thought made the farewell at the airport that much more touching in contrast.
