Shadows If you just want to search tags and browse Shadow pages, no account is needed.
okay, but I have trouble getting in. whatever I put in the search box on the homepage, I get a response that that term has not been used a tag yet on shadows. so I tried 'cats', same thing. no way, something's not working.

via google I at least see how the urls are formed, eg www.shadows.com/tags/sad+cartoon -
okay but! the tag "sad cartoon" has yet to be used on Shadows – be the first to use it! arggh.

and I see the format for viewing a user's links www.shadows.com/users/adfunk
but! takes forever to load

If you have the Shadows Toolbar, just click the button that says "Shadow Page" or click "View Shadow Page" found below any Link throughout Shadows and you'll be taken to the Shadow Page for that web page. A Shadow Page is the information hub for any page on the web. It includes all the tags, discussions, and ratings that the entire community have contributed to that web page.
ok but I keep finding: There are currently no comments or discussions on this page. You can be the first by clicking the "Start a new discussion" link at the top of this section.

maybe the site is undergoing problems at the moment. my most recent load of the frontpage showed some 'Features' eg !Browse all groups > and had (empty) spaces to display popular links. I don't think those were there before - there was no jumping off point to exploring. except the useless bcs every time unsuccessful search.
