Well, if you want to sing out, sing out And if you want to be free, be free
cause theres a million things to be You know that there are

And if you want to live high, live high And if you want to live low, live low
cause theres a million ways to go You know that there are

You can do what you want The opportunity's on
And you can find a new way You can do it today
You can make it all true And you can make it undo

Well if you want to say yes, say yes And if you want to say no, say no
cause theres a million ways to go You know that there are

And if you want to be me, be me And if you want to be you, be you
cause theres a million things to do You know that there are

are there? I hope so...
I really hope so very much? so that this little ditty is even heartbreaking to me. breaks me open, hope hoping.
heard it played at end of what tv show last week? and remember w edua, I did cry and cry at the end of Harold&Maude when Harold is playing his guitar dancing around on the hillside

Wkp: 'If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out' is a popular song by Cat Stevens. It first appeared in the movie Harold & Maude along with other songs of his. No official soundtrack was released, but it would have been made up of his songs only. The song was released later on Stevens's 1984 album Footsteps in the Dark: Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 along with his other previously unreleased songs. It appeared later on his 2003 album The Very Best of Cat Stevens.
