TWoP recap: Veronica Mars: Un-American Graffiti: She tries to let Piz down easy, and he responds by planting one on her and making his exit. Which is when Veronica decides she might just have a thing for Piz after all. Back of the line, Mars. meaning the recapper ∨ fans think he's cute, I guess.
... coming back to this later (9June, after renting & watching dvd1 of season1 of VM) I think this was the first and only time I watched a VM episode as broadcast. & was into it, too. though the mystery was not intriguing (way lower than the bar set by season 1) and as tim goodman said in 10/06 rvw I just marked on dlcs* had a feel smwh btw Monk & ScoobyDoo. but I liked VM and I liked Piz.
Veronica's appealing, but Buffy's really a tough act to follow,(he does give high praise to K Bell though. & anyway I like the show better than him. & I d n find Buffy appealling. I don't like any of the actors much, except Angel he's maybe compelling to watch. I think I dislike watching sarahmgellar. and even alyson hannigan altho maybe that's bcs of seeing her n Buffy. but now on HowImetYrMorthr eh. and also, I probably tend to dislike fantastical stuff like vampires. it's not a selling pt for me but rather sth I'd have to be convinced was int)

TWoP recap: House: Family: Meanwhile, House spends the episode trying to kill his new dog accidentally on purpose. In one week, he manages to give the dog a limp and a Vicodin addiction. House also gets a new cane with flames on it and a tiny speaker that apparently blares AC/DC wherever he goes. And he'll need that speaker, since karma stole his stereo. It takes a special show to feature characters who torture dogs and children and make you actually like them. This is still that show.

-This is exactly how patent law is currently decided. We have judges with no idea how the science behind the patents works granting patents. And we have people making money off it. Since this subject is near and dear to my heart -- it upset me, to be frank. The episode neatly sidesteps the issue that the doctor with the patent doesn't have to work on finding a cure for anything now that he has it. He could turn around and sell it to the highest bidder OR allow it to languish in the back of his lab somewhere.
