Dharma & Greg Episodes (TVGuide.com) - Playing the Field: 'Greg fouls out as part of his wife's New Age softball team, while Dharma learns that Edward's sporting a new lady around town.'

aaaah I laughed! total uncontrolled real laughing at dharma's slow-motion wind up to hit the ball - she frowns - the pitcher spits - she spits - her spit hits the catcher - oh sorry sorry - hand in slow motion extended palm toward his shoulder ...

she's really good.
this show does physical total funny like will & grace.

I also really like Greg's dad "I have to go see my lady friend. but don't tell Kitty she'll put the kaibash on it and there goes all my fun." he does delighted simple happy well: "if I have a choice, I'd like the little radio" (at bingo).

and I always like Dharma's parents.
at the softball game, Larry: I don't have to wear the cup, Abby, it's softball. no one else is wearing one.
Abby: well, I find that hard to believe. Greg, are you doing anything to protect your genitals?

when I watched the first episode dvd commentary or in sth I read they said that Abby usually did not get the funny lines. but I think she does, lines like that one are very funny, she delivers them great.
Larry is very good but a more obvious character. and the reviews love Greg's mom but I find her the least funny & most obvious character type though I guess the actress is good.

I laugh at: Dharma, Greg's dad, Abby (& Larry esp when together with her)

I love the Abby or Dharma funny bit of saying something totally straight.
just now on next episode Hell No, Greg Can't Go --
Dharma to everyone else (as she follows Greg out of the room bcs they are fighting): I'll be right back. unless there's make-up sex.

ah and now Greg got a good line there, in military uniform at the airport, bickering with Dharma at the counter, and the airline rep at the counter asks if she should call security: oh, she's my wife. and I'll let you know.
