Grey's Annex: The Addison Spin-Off - TWoP Forums p63

-Avid watcher of Grey's and yes mostly for the too few in every episode Addison moments - so, I'm rooting for this spin-off to work. However, was left cold for the most part. First they spend all of this season breaking down the Addie of Season 2 where I loved her - this intelligent, self-aware, non-self absorbed, dignified character who acknowledged her mistake, tried to make amends, was kind even to the mistress, and generally didn't have inappropriate interplay with interns...
Grey's is all about high school in a hospital and I thought and hoped the Spin-off could have been life/adult real life in a medical practice. But, hey I numb myself to realities of television's lowest common denominator approach all the time. We're apparently still in High School here.

this page has links to lots of reviews... compare/contrast int me...
I guess I tht the show was pretty bad. dumb. Addison hitting T Diggs on the head. the writers ("Shonda") seems to like that kind of dumbness.

-Here's the beginning of the review from The NY Times (spinoff review):
Everything wrong with “Grey’s Anatomy” and its soon-to-be spun spinoff is the fault of “Ally McBeal.”
[At least] On “Grey’s Anatomy” at least two female characters, Christina and Dr. Bailey have confidence, big egos and an ability to keep their sorrows to themselves most of the time.
