I like Pacey. haven't seen Pacey say anything dumb really. whereas I haven't seen the others say much that isn't.

these kids seem young. children. pretentious-talking, melodramatic about love, innocent children. whereas the kids on 90210 did not seem like children.
*is the main difference me? the 90210 characters started HS at same time as me, and probably the actors are all older than me. DawsonsCreek was 8 yrs later, 1998, and the actors are all at least a bit younger than me. but this difference in perspective holds even if I see 90210 in repeat, which I did at least once. especially the girls seem older on 90210 and so very young on dawsons.
*does the difference have to do with the network? the way the show is produced? the WB has this sort of innocent or disneyish or sth quality. gilmore girls too.
*is it bcs the setting on 90210 was the wealthiest & ritziest of communities? therefore a certain sophistication. urbanity or sth. whereas dawsons creek is supposed to be backwater.
the 90210 girls did wear more (apparent) makeup, right. and kelly had already had a nose job at the series beginning... etc.

dawson's creek is maybe like 90210 innocented down twd wonder years. where fred savage (kevin -?) and winnie, oh they seemed young.
