Oh my gosh, people. You aren't going to believe this. Yeah, alliterator, that's how you're supposed to remember that quote. But I watched the pilot last night. And look at what Veronica actually said:

I told you, you aren't going to believe this. But there's the answer, right there in front of us the whole time, in the pilot and everything: Aaron Echolls makes twenty million a picture. You probably own Aaron Echolls' action figure. Aaron Echolls is our obligatory psychotic jackass.
-the writers are brilliant! And she does call Aaron psychotic again in LitB. Damn, that is some good stuff!
hmm I wonder if the writers intended this as meaningful.
-Just to forestall objection: I am not trying to say that Veronica was literally referring to Haaron as the OPJ. I realize that doesn't quite make sense; she said "every school has..." and there's not really any sense in which Neptune High "has" Haaron.
Well, they do have his boots -- but that happened later, and I digress. ;)
All I'm suggesting is that the murky pronoun-reference was entirely intentional -- a subliminal clue that turns totally blatant for those who watch the series a second time.
