-I feel like Lost turned a corner when they introduced Ben. From what I understand he was not supposed to be a permanent character but the fan response was so overwhelming they wrote him as a reoccuring role. I feel the whole direction of the show went toward Ben and away from the central mysteries of season 1.

and most importantly THE NUMBERS also not forgotten, still being built in
I really and truly hope the numbers figure into the grand mystery and answers of Lost.
That said I'm loving this season so far. I would just hope it all figures together and that we are not expected to just forget some of these mysteries from seasons past.
