as I thought, the reason they are saying they "can't" have a classic dlcs layout option is bcs changed whole backend ~ "infrastructure" ~ "technological base."
int. arguments here that a new backend cannot really prohibit the old user interface.
seems to me it at least cannot prohibit a user interface very much like the old one. so yes, one that mimics it, good.
