Little Pete's Restaurant shared Anastasia Koutroubas's photo.
November 15
Shared for everyone who follows this page to see. This restaurant isn't just a place of business, it's a family.
And if you've had the opportunity to know/meet them, you will remember them forever.
Quoted for Truth.
36 years ago my hero, my DAD, also known as Mr. "Little Pete" opened his very first restaurant together with the hard work of his brothers, sister and family. Over the years Little Petes has become a Philadelphia landmark, a staple. It is simply a gem with so much history and L-O-V-E. Little Petes is Philadelphia. It's more than just a diner. It represents the American Dream, my family. As my Uncle Gus said and I quote, "We were just a bunch of hillbillies from the mountains of Greece trying to make it in America." Well make it they did and I couldn't be prouder. My two brothers and seven cousins have been blessed with so much more than what our parents had because of the endless hours, sweat, blood and tears put into this place by them to make it successful. And from the "Little Pete" family (aka The Koutroubas and Kontostergios families)-We Thank You Philadelphia for the love and support in making this little family diner successful and so special. We love all of our costumers and Little Petes wouldn't of had such a long run if it wasn't for all of you.
Forever grateful and Forever Philadelphia,
xoxo

11/31

Yes, it is true our days at 17th and Chancellor are coming to an end. But that doesn't mean we're gone just yet!
Come on in and grab some food, preferably your own and not someone else's.
