As Largehearted Boy kicks off its fifth year, I'd like to thank everyone for reading the site and for your interaction. I have discovered a world of music and literature through your correspondence and comments, and am deeply thankful.
The 52 Books, 52 Weeks project will return, again sponsored by Atomic Books, all-star indie bookstore to Baltimore, the world, and John Waters. This structured reading approach has worked well for me the past two years, and I am looking forward to another fulfilling year of turning pages. Two new projects started in 2005 will continue. The Book Notes series (authors creating playlists for their recent book) has many surprises in store from the world of literature in the coming year. The Note Books series (musicians revealing their literary side) started with commitments from many of my favorite artists, but only three submissions. Look for more Note Books entries this year as I have the time to send gentle reminders to the kind folks who have committed to writing a short essay.
