brooke: potential
(via)twop:Blogging ANTM posted more non-show pictures of Brooke modeling.absltly gorgeous in 2swimsuit shots//she's the greatest looking to me of any ANTM I've seen. stunning, yes. compelling the eye.

-I literally scream YES when they called Brooke's name. So glad. I do too, and for no other antm have I.
-I'm glad she called out Nnenna on her bullshit; I'm glad Nnenna makes her skin crawl; because Nnenna? You make my skin crawl as well. And Brooke, don't apologize for calling Nnenna a "fucking bitch". Cause Brooke? She totally is, so just go with the flow and call her whatever you want. I feel nnenna cols, over-structured. ~glad I d n see this part, though, bcs might find B irritating. however: that she is over-sensitive is kind of a good personality problem - she'll only get more confident, so it's good that she's sweet. maybe I think this bcs her look is kind of hard ~ mean ~ so I think the softness of her personality might be what makes it compelling (where Corynne wasn't, she was cold seeming, if sad. cold - sad.) brooke's sweet smile is good.

Blogging America's Next Top Model: joanie: the silent threat pt. 1
joanie's my next favrt after Brooke. J has also gotten incrsly great to look at - w her, is bcs of persnlty, I think. she seems smart and has been doing well.
www.myspace.com/joanietopmodel yeah I seem to like this girl.1st myspace page I've liked, even music comingon [Iloveyrsmile-jisha] & photo J rappg (on antm).&lk:online now.adds certain live-liness//on blggingantm, also link jmyspace 'personal' but did my usual rightawayclose.

I guess the elimination is probably what I wld have suggested. jade ech but she did well in what we daw tonite. so I agree with
-Leslie is very pretty, and seems like a cool person, but she just looked dead all the time. Especially at the elimination; dead eyes, with bags underneath them. Her walk was attrocious, but I really do agree with whoever said that it's possible her spine prevents her from walking. Her body just seems to curve in an odd way. It was definately her time to go. She didn't look surpirsed at all.
-She was more of a pretty actress than a model to me.

-And yeah, Joanie is amazing. I'd totally hang out with her, snaggletooth and all...which reminds me, next week looks beyond painful. snaggletooth?
-Joanie chruch walk was sizzling, damn she was hot!!
lots of Joanie, I love you. and I'm kinda getting on the Joanie train. That picture? Was so a Payless ad and incredibly cute to boot.
-Tyra's "turntable" twirl really was amazing. Was a tech running along the perimeter of the studio with a platter of ribs?
-The turntable thing was definitely neat. Not exactly the most useful skill in a model's repertoire, but neat nonetheless. -gilmoreguy
-Loved the fact that Tyrant was wearing those dance rounds on the bottom of her shoes to do her perfect turn. Nice cheat Tyrant. But the camera managed to still catch the edge despite the wanky angle. ??
-Haha, LaBrooke. Tyra's so stupid. What happened in this episode again? [/irony]
-OK, how many times will this show contradict itself? They slammed Nik last season for a signature walk and claimed no one did that any more; it went out in the 90s. Now they focus on, what? Signature walks.
-I didn't like how Jay was telling the girls to just dance and forget they're in a photo shoot because the judges later told the girls they shouldn't forget they're in a photo shoot. I blame Jay because he kept goading the girls into proving they could dance. If this were a video, that would be appropriate, but still photos are a totally different story, especially with, uh, krumping. Brooke should have stood by her outburst on all fronts. Don't go to another girl and sound all whiny when you were 100% in the right. Nnenna doesn't know how to listen or treat other people with respect. Then again, what are other people going to do, spank you? However, I don't agree with the "go back to Africa" remark. Brooke probably didn't mean it in a racist way, but that phrase shouldn't come out of a considerate, thinking person's mouth.

-I think Brooke was responding to Nnenna apparent sense of superiority about being from Africa. I think it didn't occur to her that a white girl was talking shit about a black girl going back to wherever she came from. I don't think her brain is that advanced. And did I mention Nnenna was being a big ol' bitch? Because she was. Being a bitch. A haughty, obnoxious, I can do whatever the hell I want because I'm better than you bitch. I don't blame Brooke one bit. Good for her. .. I think I'm starting to love Joanie. And I liked Brooke. Huh.
-Danielle is my favorite, and I hope they will do something about her teeth, too, but even if they do, I don't see CG wanting her with that accent. CG is too white bread. But I think Danielle has the most modelesque style, and her pictures are stunning.

-I loved every word out of Danielle's mouth tonight.
I don't remember any.. except nice scene in house with her rapping to joanie: I got so much flow, I hand it to Jojo.
-I especially loved Joanie and Danielle's strange, but charming freestyle rapping in the kitchen.
yeahthese girls are fairly likeable group. cut jade and we cld see some calm interesting group interaction maybe. well, nnenna is a bit unlikeable.
- I'm going to turn off the snark for a moment and make a serious post. Now, here's something to think about: this show has always walked a very fine line when it comes to race. I think Tyra has some sort of fairy godmother fantasy about taking a ghetto Cinderella out of the hood and transforming her into a princess. Eva understood this, perhaps subconsciously, and played the "thug, interrupted" role Tyra was expecting. Tiffany didn't, and we all know how that turned out. right. the tyra yelling at panel. one of the most int moments maybe. I'm not questioning Tyra's motives. I believe they're genuine and generous. I question her execution, and her knowledge of what it's really like to grow up poor.It seems almost impossible for a girl to escape the slot she's assigned in the first week (the drunk, the boring one, miss ghetto, the brain, the nutjob, the plus-size girl, etc.). The direction at shoots and the feedback at panel all depends on which slot the girl occupies. Again, I think the show's intentions are basically ok. The execution is a little off, and there's a stready stream of mixed messages. I'm honestly surprised, given the varied backgrounds of the girls and the stress they're under, that there aren't more flare ups. -gilmoreguy (p.7). alright.
