ok in youtube trailer here can see the photo of her with former boyfriend, looks somewhat like Ben but I dont guess that's supposed to be pointedly significant?
and here shows (Ben finding) a newspaper clipping: Murder, Suicide: Wife slays husband then self: Daughter unharmed. so there is that as backstory for why she's nuts. (trauma - or, like mother like daughter I guess - but let's just say the trauma.) maybe that didn't actually appear in the movie.
I like Ben in the scene where they meet at her locker and she asks him what's the letter for. I like how he speaks, what is I like? sth like wryness - understatement, pauses. connected, looking right at her.
