so, I am pretty into Heroes. and reading twop about it.
(Studio60 not that int, but somewhat). that's Monday.
commenting 8/11/07, almost a year later. I lost int in Heroes pretty quickly, as it seemed to become action-y. and I guess I like character-y, which seemed more there at least as a possibility in the opening episodes. and so my loss of interest coincided with its increading popularity. incidentally, I think. well: it may have become popular for the same reason that I lost interest, that it was plot-driven. but I mean, I don't think I lost interest bcs it got popular.
oh and Sunday, Brothers&Sisters is probably going to be pretty good. I'll watch it and read a bit of comments, unless not in the mood.. never really got into Br&S. boring to me I guess.
GilmoreGirls int to see what happens.. and am liking reading people's thoughts about Luke/Lorelai, since there's room for various thoughtful takes on it.
BostonLegal is getting good, again, good.
NipTuck is fun and the scientology is int to me.. and if I ever need a dvd to rent I could get past seasons. (or, WithoutATrace, wh would suit roughly the same mood. or Weeds, for something I maybe will like in a more serious way? but when eager for seriousness, quality- The Wire. that one maybe go ahead and own, at some point.)
...oh and those ads during niptuck for Dirt, pretty hot. the music "this time you've come to far' and glimpses of courtney cox, and tonite her walking up to a man, leaving a dirt hand print on his shirt. well done. ~
I think I like FX's commercials. aiming to be edgy or moody, I guess, and it works for me. currently the Nip/Tuck one using "Wicked Game" sung by female voice: 'What a wicked thing to do - to make me dream of you. ' and camera filming back of the letters in the Hollywood sign, looking down the hill over the purpleish city lights at night. anyway I wrote this above at the beginning of ever watching N/T. before it was my show. bonnie said she looked at dlww and "hit a wall Nip/Tuck." now, dlww is passworded, so only I see the many walled fortress I made of Veronica Mars...
The Nine starts tomorrow and maybe I will watch it on commercials. I expect it won't compete with my liking of Kidnapped. Kidnapped, that I'd probably enjoy seeing (~owning) as a series on dvd. whereas Heroes, not as much, why? Heroes is fun, all the different stories, but Kidnapped is one very good story.. ~?~ maybe it's mainly that I like watching Sisto.
so that's a full evening on Tuesday, and an hour on Wednesday.
then there's fluff to watch if feel like it ~ GreysA, MenInTrees. oh and Meerkats on Friday, that's not fluff it's something else. did not take to that. sad to me to watch. I do like very much when Denis Leary on Rescue Me early this current season (summer 07) - and I think it was the first episode of that I saw - is being asked about the night he was in a fire and he is talking about watching Meerkat Manor and how this Meerkat called Shakespeare had gotten hurt and separated "and things were looking pretty bad for the guy, so I was getting pretty worried. I do like that Tommy Gavin, all emotional.about the Meerkat as much as about his marriage or a fire or hockey.
and FashionHouse is still fun to see parts of some nights - and the wedding happens this week? with Bo Derek finding out she's been duped (I want to see What exactly is the duping for? will the show reveal a worthwhile hidden purpose of WllmChandler's?)
that was fun, being into Fashion House the telenovela on MNTV. that made the tv watching really seem cozy. bcs on every nite I guess...
but I d n get int in the next set of telenovelas, d n much try, glanced and it just seemed boring. and sometime after that I think, they stopped doing telenovelas, right? gave it up. sometimes that channel has good movies on weeknites now.
