These Aren't the Kidnappers You're Looking For
Kidnapped - At the Cains' annual charity event, Conrad thinks he's found the man behind Leo's abduction when his old running buddy Sully crashes the party. Meanwhile, Ellie thinks that she's found the kidnapper when an oily, goateed gent approaches her demanding money in exchange for her son's safe return. Turns out they're both wrong, but not before crunchy beatings are dispensed for one and for all. So it turns out the winners here are us viewers. Unless, of course, you wanted the recaps to continue beyond three episodes.aw bummer.
13 For three episodes, it was a paradise, folks.

TV Guide Community: New Season Fallout: Changes Everywhere: Kidnapped is moving to Saturdays, starting Oct. 21. Strike two for the serialized mystery-drama. The show is now expected to wrap its story in 13 episodes (three have aired so far), and if so, NBC deserves some sort of kudos for living up to its promise to critics this summer that if a show like this didn’t open and catch on, it would still be able to achieve some closure and the audience wouldn’t be left hanging. Moving Kidnapped to Saturday is the equivalent of putting it out to pasture, but I can’t think of a better use of this empty night of programming. Low risk, low gain, but at least Kidnapped’s small audience is being looked after. For now.
