my frfx updated. I d n want it to. dislike close buttn on each tab. AND default theme. I like the older one with ~ less stylized bttns)

This is the default Firefox 1.5 theme for Firefox 2.0 I didn't like the new default theme at all, so I tried to convert the old one for Firefox 2.0 and tht share.

ok good. downloaded Winestripe from here, selected "use theme" under themes under Add-ons under Tools, closed all Firefox windows, started Firefox anew, and
yay: the old not-too-cool-for-school buttons are back. and the Go button with the word (and little round green circle, enclosing little white triangle - rather than larger too-cool green triangle)
...and no magnifying glass in the searchbar. good.

but no this did not take care of the close button on each tab.
and I guess probably not of the scrolling tabs (limits the minimization of tabs to fixed size and then you have to scroll right) to see tabs, ick)

so the customisations here are, I conclude,
NOT customisations performed by the theme
but further customisations one can do to revert to Firefox 1.5 behavior

I would just revert to Firefox 1.5, I think, but I don't find it
