I like that the Luke & Lorelai get together was quiet. -thank you for the party. -I wanted to make you happy. then they kiss, and we see nothing else, no conversation, but the next morning she is wearing the necklace he gave her and the next morning luke opens the diner early to serve them breakfast before they go to the airport. and it ends with the two girls sitting there -mom, I left the cap that says greatest reporter at home -how will they know then? I guess they'll have to read your stuff.
and then the camera backs up to outside the window, framing Lorelai facing Rory at the table -- like the shot that closed the first episode seven years ago. nice.

I'm happy with it. it was light, nothing outstanding, but it started as a light show, and last week we got a lot of moving moments, so this week's were quieter, typical. Emily getting all involved in advising Lorelai at the inn, because she is afraid she won't see her daughter anymore. and Lorelai saying, why don't we just talk about this at Friday night dinner? and Emily says, oh we're still going to.. well that will be fine. but don't wear jeans. Lorelai: have I ever? Emily: well I don't know maybe Rory enforced the dress code.
