dad-patient: how did you?
House: a psychic once told me I was a psychic. (takes coins from kid) hey, this quarter is canadian. give me my syringe back.

And Chase again shines, doesn't he? calling House on indeed being the one who called off the interview, bcs everyone is running around chasing ghosts (accusing one another), and who would want that? etc. House: Sometimes I forget there is a reason I hired you.

also liked the House-kid chess scene. the kid says, hand over your king. you'll move your bishop, I'll ... then Checkmate. then he has a seizure. House says "Crap." and it seems to be bcs he lost, not bcs the kid seized. and he turns his king on his side. but later he comes to the kid to say "And I wouldn't have moved my bishop, I'd have moved my whatever and then blah blah blah, and so I won." kid: "I know. I was bluffing. which is why you lost."
