The good news? The May 15 finale was meant to serve as either a series or season finale. aw, so it won't have the talked-about scene pre-written by Amy Sherman-Palladino to end the series! (she said she had already written the final scene and it's btw rory & lorelai).
And having just read the script, I can assure you that it's a satisfying conclusion to the series. As I previously teased teased? as in a teaser? it brings Gilmore full circle. hmm first episode had Lorelai renewing relations with her parents so they could pay for Rory to go to Chilton. so what would full circle be?

-How sad! If the season finale is already filmed, how are they going to give it the send off it deserves? Things can not be resolved in two or three more episodes, especially with Luke and Lorelai's relationship. yeah. it's not so sad to end it, but sad that they did not make more of this year, and especially that it will not be a planned conclusion...

-So now that it's done you're gonna get AS-P on the phone and find out those final words she had in mind, right? exactly

-now only 2 more episodes ever!
