Recap, Ad, and Other Non-Forum Technical Issues - Nuts & Bolts -TWoP Forums:

-I've been having trouble all day reading some of the older recaps. It seems to happen with most of the shows that I've clicked on. I'll get this error message... I've tried clearing my cache, clearing my cookies. I've shut down my browser. I've even done all that and then restarted my computer. I still keep getting that error message which I've never had before today so I'm wondering is there anything else I can try on my end or is it with TWOP's server?

on 4 July I emailed tech about this bcs did not see this thread (under forums - nuts & bolts is at the bttm. I only looked in announcements, which is at the top above the shows). got pointed twd this thread where I am totally satisfied seeing comments about the situation.

We're still working on the server errors. I have no more info, but rest assured that we're reporting it and chasing it down as much as we can on our end.
[-on the main recap page the episode title before the little description is now the "quippy" title instead of the actual title. yep on VM too. I tht they only at some point started putting the actual episode title there below the recap quippy title. huh back on 28 June, fuzzbear put it well: -When you say some recap lists are "mistitled," does that cover what's happened in many of the recap lists for PHed shows, where only the cheeky fake names are appearing (twice) instead of the actual ep names? ]
Yeah, the "quippy titles" thing has to do with the way recaps imported from the old system, and it's on the list.
(I swear to God, the list is real: it doesn't just mean "settle down." There exists a list of issues, and that is on it.)
...what's available and what's not is a constantly moving target, but I'll let somebody know again and we'll see what they can do.

-I would assume that they are still being worked on because Miss Alli has really stepped up and taken on most of our questions since 'the change' (thank you). I'm guessing once Glark starts to answer consistently, that will indicate that things have begun to slow down a little. However, do you guys want us to report all the funky things going on with the recaps/links, or just assume you're working on it?

-If you need to re-establish the links in the recaps, you could put it out as forum challenges. I know that some of us have had recaps (including the links) memorized for years (ahem). I would love to help fill some in, and I'm sure I'm not alone. I know you have the copies to go from, but you might not be able to or want to do everything.
ETA: I'm sure that's a dumb idea. I just want to help. I miss the links and I totally understand that they are not a high priority right now. You guys are doing a great job.
as long as they are not just sacrificing those but intending to translate all the links so still work. which it seems they are.

-Such a tiny thing, but will the Tubey.ico be restored to non-forum pages? It makes me happy seeing his little evil eyes glaring at me from the address bar.
