On Saturday May 12 we moved the TWoP forum server from our original host to NBC's tech home. A lot of what was gumming up the system before shouldn't be an issue (hence the thread reset) anymore but that's not to say we won't have some tweaking to do so please post your weirdness here for us to review.
From now on I'm going to pin this post "pin" makes it appear at top of each page I guess and keep a list of known issues/bugs so that we are all on the same page.
Current known issues on the forums:
only one so far, re signing in.

-Using WINxp with IE7, I usually start the recap at the index page (duh, H!), and right-click on 'page 2' to 'Open in New Tab.' This way I read to the end of the first page, left click on Page 3, go immediately to the other (Page 2) tab and read that, then left click Page 4. In fewer words, recap open in two tabs. It saves time, I don't have to wait for the next page to load because I'm reading the previous page while it does that. right. me too!
Today, it ain't working. Right-click and Open in New Tab is behaving exactly like left-click 'follow the link right here.' It's only allowing me one tab of recap at a time. As far as I can tell, this is happening ONLY in recaps (or indeed, this particular recap nice). Forum navigation, including to get here and check several pages, has right-click New Tab working just fine.
Is this a glitch or a crack-down on tab junkies in recaps?
-Hell Kelpie, I'll bet that's related to what Miss Alli said on the last page, that the recap page links are temporarily being done in javascript. My experience has been that javascript doesn't behave nicely with things like right-clicking.
-
