Life - TWoP Forums p262 : Charlie and Nate sit in that helicopter, and Charlie tells Nate about what it'll be like for him - how it'll be hard, how he'll always be different. He doesn't say anything about it getting easier, about healing. Nate asks when they're taking off, and Charlie admits he doesn't know how to fly the helicopter. Then the camera zooms out and we get a great visual of them in the helicopter that's just sitting on the roof, not going anywhere.
I was remembering this scene last nite, not sure if it was this show.
...
he doesn't yet know how to rebuilt his life. There's a nod to that in one of his conversations with Constance, after she sees him with the cupcakes. She comments that they're not enough to live on, and he says he never thought he'd be living at all. Which is exactly it, he isn't living, not yet.
