Gilmore Girls - Double Date - Episode Number: 12 - Season Num: 1
aw. maybe I do want to own season one. this is really good. lovely lovely Lorelai, so good a friend to Sukie out on her first date with Jackson at fancy French restaurant- "you're just putting too much weight on this. in minutes I can take your hair down, we can go somewhere more comfortable, and I think you're wrong about the dress." and then so nice at counter with Luke, and he almost asks her out.. they're watching Sookie & Jackson and she says how nice that is, the first date, everything is funny, every touch is exciting.. "I miss that." and he says, "you'll have it again." aw nice. and then they play cards and he says "maybe someday we could - " and he's gesturing like, we = you & I, but then mrs kim comes in upset interrupting them.
even rori is okay, she's cute.
and jackson does look good, like sookie says, he looks handsome.
and luke looks scruffy longhaired great.
but mostly it's Lorelai who is wonderful.
Lane is one exception I like her better now - the actress was always good but seems ~ a little pretentious snobby at this age, but really nice now that she's the older girl (this past episode hanging out with April while Luke goes out).

also I remember I like v much an early episode maybe #4 or so where Luke drives Lorelai to the hospital bcs her dad is there. and I really liked their talk in their car.
their interaction in season one is very nice to watch.

so yeah maybe season one gilmore girls is the dvd I'd like for xmas..
